GJEPC:GEMS AND JEWELLERY EXPORT PROMOTION COUNCIL
The Gem & Jewellery Export Promotion Council (GJEPC) was set up by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India (GoI) in 1966. It was one of several Export Promotion Councils (EPCs) launched by the Indian Government, to boost the country’s export thrust, when India’s post-Independence economy began making forays in the international markets. Since 1998, the GJEPC has been granted autonomous status.
FIEO:FEDERATION OF IMPORT EXPORT ORGANISATIONS
The Federation of Indian Export Organisations represents the Indian entrepreneurs spirit of enterprise in the global market. Known popularly as "FIEO", this apex body of Indian export promotion organizations was set up jointly by the Ministry of Commerce, Government of India and private trade and industry in the year 1965. FIEO is thus a partner of the Government of India in promoting India's exports
MRAI:METAL RECYCLING ASSOCIATION OF INDIA
MRAI with its head office in Mumbai brings under one Association, all the various regional recycling associations that are currently active as well individual companies as its Members.
Among its many services, MRAI promotes public awareness of the value and importance of recycling along with the positive environmental benefits derived from metals recycling. As part of this effort, MRAI advocates on behalf of the industry before the Indian Government (Ministry of Environment and Forests, Steel Ministry, DGFT, State Pollution Control Boards, Port Authorities and others) to help ensure the free and fair trade of Metal Scraps.
